Looking Up: 3 Ceilings in Leon Spain

I trod part of the Camino de Santiago, the Way of St. James, in Northwest Spain a couple of years ago.  Before we began walking the pilgrimage trail, we spent a couple of days in Leon, a beautiful city with much to see and do.  These are some of the wonders one can appreciate when looking up.

This was taken last year -- when we had lots of snow, remember? - on the scenic route between my gallery, RiverWinds, and my home in Wappingers Falls.  Wheeler Hill is no joke: this is just before the peak -- it's the kind of narrow two-lane road where you can't see the other side as you cross the peak, and if you give your car a little gas, you get that exciting little lift in your stomach.  This is what we do for fun in Wappingers Falls...
