More Scans: The Rose and the Cannonball

A rose from the garden.
This is a 19th century cannon ball.  It's about 3 inches in diameter, a solid ball of iron, quite heavy.  If you were to drop it on your foot, for example, it would break a toe.

    the rose is spectacular!
    and the cannon ball is beautiful too, looks like a planet from far far away, hey where is that place, i think i'd like to visit
